The Wattisham Airfield Station Museum opened in November 1991.The museum is housed in the original station chapel, built by the USAAF in 1943

 Inside the museum you can see an extensive photographic record, depicting the history of the station from its construction in 1937, up to the present day. There is a fine display of models, artefacts and memorabilia from the squadrons based at Wattisham through the years.

The Wattisham Museum Society is always looking for new members, to lend a hand in the current running and display work and to help build and maintain the already impressive collection.
